this makes me think about the post about the two girls who didn’t want to get caught sendes notes in class so they learned elvish

But this makes Tengwar (a writing system, not a language) look like a cipher. Tengwar is an alphabet based on phonetics.

I’m not an expert in the system, but I do know that ‘c’ and ‘k’ are the same sounds in the languages. And as Tengwar was made for the elvish languages (note that ‘Elvish’ isn’t a language, but it can be used to describe the languages such as Quenya and Sindarin. Similar how Spanish, English and German are Indo-European languages), the calma is used for both the ‘k’ sound in English and many ‘c’ sounds in English.

There are places in the internet where you could learn Tengwar for writing in English. Omniglot, is a good resource from what I’ve heard.

But if you really want to appreciate the actual languages look for Quetin i lamb¨e eldaiva (for Quenya) and Pedin Edhellen (for Sindarin) by Thorsten Renk.
